The film highlights the deep cultural roots of Black birthwork, tracing its lineage to the traditions of African American midwives who have been central to community health and childbirth for generations. It also celebrates the efforts of modern Black Doulas who are reclaiming this legacy, advocating for holistic, culturally-affirming care, and helping to address the maternal mortality crisis disproportionately affecting Black women today.Cradled In Culture, serves as both an educational tool, identifying the vital role of doulas, and a call to action to support them in their mission to restore agency and empowerment in childbirth. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events9/banners/0da43310-2bf6-11f1-a34b-ab2ddfdabbf9-rimg-w523-h740-dc6e3315-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/0ddf4040-2bf6-11f1-adf0-4de4cd755510-rimg-w740-h740-dc010101-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/0e15e0a0-2bf6-11f1-adf0-4de4cd755510-rimg-w740-h740-dc673013-gmir.jpg
