Most kids do not know how to identify nor run one of the 9 basic routes in the tree. They will visually learn all of them. 🕑: 12:45 PM - 01:15 PMRoute Tree Info: All wide receivers and quarterbacks will line up in groups and run the entire route tree route by route and apply what they learned on the whiteboard. There will be coach correction.🕑: 01:15 PM - 01:20 PMWater Break 🕑: 01:20 PM - 01:40 PMChalkboard: Explain The Details Of Route Running (Drill Prep)Info: On the whiteboard I will explain the details of route running like body position, pad level, weight transfer , etc. They will have an understanding of why we are doing the drills next.🕑: 01:40 PM - 02:10 PMTop Of The Route Circuit Info: In this segment, wide receivers will learn our step-by-step process for mastering crisp route-top mechanics — from body position and snap down, to the turn, the break, and finishing with the catch. The top of the route on routes like curls, comebacks, outs, digs etc.🕑: 02:10 PM - 02:40 PMRoute Sell CircuitInfo: Direct focus on gaining ground and selling vertical on routes. Very important when running routes vs off coverage and when defensive backs are running man to man with wide receivers.🕑: 02:40 PM - 02:45 PMWater Break 🕑: 02:45 PM - 03:00 PMChalkboard: Explaining Basic Route Patterns/ConceptsInfo: On the whiteboard, we’ll break down core route concepts such as Smash, Dagger, and Levels — covering what each concept is designed to exploit, the proper route depths, and the role of delay releases. We’ll also discuss spacing — why it’s critical for timing, separation, and opening up the entire passing game.🕑: 03:00 PM - 03:20 PMRoute Pattern CircuitInfo: Wide receivers and quarterbacks will group up in teams to run the same route concepts we discussed on the board. There will be coaching points throughout. We will be evaluating execution.🕑: 03:20 PM - 03:45 PM1 on 1 Competition Info: The athletes go head to head and compete in head to head wide receiver vs defensive back combat.🕑: 03:45 PM - 04:00 PMClosing Remarks & Awards Info: We will award our top campers and acknowledge top performance.
