Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures - 2025

BICA 2025 is organized by BICA Society together with the University of Guadalajara. It is a part of the BICA Conference Series (2010-2025, ranked B4 in Qualis), also known as the BICA Society Annual Meeting. BICA brings together researchers, engineers and practitioners from diverse disciplines to discuss advances in the development of Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures and related fields with the focus on CS, AI, LLM, ITS, multimodal HCI, XR, cognitive robotics, emotions, computational creativity and consciousness. The conference provides a platform for establishing interdisciplinary collaborations in solving challenges like a digital replication of the human mind (the BICA Challenge) and is open to many other ideas and research challenges. BICA is famous for its friendly, informal atmosphere of excitement and opportunity, supported by a fabulous social program offered to registered participants. This year’s BICA will be held as a hybrid conference: online and offline — in Puerto Vallarta, MX.

IMPORTANT POLICIES of BICA 2025:

Each accepted paper must be covered by a separate full registration fee payment. The registered person must be a (co-)author of the paper. Springer papers longer than 25 pages require an additional Extra Page Fee for every page in excess of 25. Payments made by mistake or in a wrong category will be considered null and void. In general, no refunds will be provided, regardless of the circumstances. Online participation without a paper is free and requires an advance registration in EasyChair for BICA 2025 by submitting a short bio of the participant as an abstract.
