All activities are FREE.We'll be in Morecambe from 14 August- 16 August .You'll receive details of exactly where to find us with your booking confirmation.About the exhibitionThis exhibition brings together historic, modern and contemporary works by British artists from the Government Art Collection. It addresses stories of exploration, migration and industry that have shaped both the UK and the world. It invites us to question not only how the sea continues to shape our coastlines, but also ourselves as individuals and communities.Artists: Roger Ackling, Simon Bayliss, Samuel and Nathaniel Buck, Chila Kumari Singh Burman, Mohini Chandra, EVEWRIGHT, Anya Gallaccio, Lubaina Himid, Tess Jaray, Thomas Luny, Will Maclean, Zethu Maseko, Paul Nash, William Pye, Bridget Riley, Ro Robertson, Zineb Sedira, Emma Stibbon and Joseph William Mallord Turner.GUIDED VISITS + WORKSHOPSVarious times, select your free ticket through the booking link.These combined 60-minute sessions for families include a guided visit to the mobile museum and a chance to make your own artwork in one of our creative workshops.We are limited to having 15 people in the mobile museum at any one time, so book ahead to secure your place!Please arrive at the start time of your visit so you don't miss any of the fun (or interrupt your fellow visitors).To book general visits, head to our Mobile Museum.Our open hours are open to all. So step inside and see what it's all about! Our friendly facilitators will be available to answer any questions - please feel free to ask them about the exhibition or the mobile museum truck!Please note:Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.We can accommodate access needs; however, these must be arranged in advance of your visit. Please CALL US if you have access needs. There are 6 steps to walk up to get into the Mobile Museum, but we have a mobility lift available. For health & safety, we need to be notified in advance if needed.Tickets are not required for exhibition visits; however, we advise booking so that we can manage numbers.Tickets are FREE and limited to 4 per booking.
