We bring together those interested in hypnosis kink to learn from each other, practice our skills as hypnotists and subjects, and grow together as a community. Each meeting begins with a short workshop, demo, or discussion presented by a different member of the community, followed by open time to practice and play. We believe that teaching is an invaluable way to learn and build confidence. We encourage everyone to consider volunteering to present a workshop, demo, or discussion at one of our upcoming Trancesylvania skill shares.This is our ANNUAL hypnosis kink 101 class! It tends to sell out very quickly and early! The rest of the year our skill shares will assume a basic 101-level of knowledge with hypnosis kink. We also have a page of recommended learning resources for beginners and intermediates on our website, including free recorded 101 classes.This Month's Theme: HypnoKink 101!!!This isn't your Daddy’s Hypnosis 101—this is a cool new HypnoKink 101. Bring your curiosity and a willingness to participate in class. Monday and Mutt will teach you how to hypnotize and how to be hypnotized. Learn how to build a hypnokink scene collaboratively on BDSM principles and create hypnotic effects just like seasoned tists and subjects. No scripts or cheap magic tricks. Safety, agency, scene-building, consent, and negotiation are built in to this novel method of teaching kinky hypnosis.After class, stay to practice with your classmates. Planning ahead for travel time and traffic is your responsibility. This is a volunteer-run event and we want our volunteers running check-in to be able to attend the event too.Tickets & LiabilityAll ticket sales are in advance and no at-the-door sales are allowed. Registration will close when doors open. Tickets are not refundable or transferable. That means your ticket for this event is your ticket for this event only.You will be required to sign a liability waiver your first time attending Trancesylvania (even if you have done so previously at another event at the Nest.) Bring your ID or you may be turned away at the door.Our VenueTrancesylvania is hosted at the Nest in Fishtown, Philadelphia. Venue address will be provided at registration. Address must not be shared with others. The venue has ample free parking and is easily accessible via public transportation from Center City, Philadelphia. You MUST be dressed vanilla when outside the venue, including the parking lot. No nudity or sexual activity is permitted at this event.
