This family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, August 22nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday, August 23rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Tour-goers will be astounded at what fellow high-desert gardeners have created, and they will walk away with inspiration and ideas from the successful Nevada gardeners and do-it-yourselfers. There will be all types of gardens from vegetable, flower, mixtures of both, low water use/xeriscape and in all stages of establishment from new to well-established.The tour is self-paced, and participants are able to visit as many of the featured gardens as they like. Tickets are good for both days.The cost is $25 for one person, $35 for two, and children under 12 are free. Tour booklets and wristbands are available to be picked up at Rail City Garden Center - proof of order confirmation must be provided at the time of pick up one week before the event.
