We'll be accpeting donations now through 12/19 and giving the donations out on 12/20 between 2-6pm.The goal of this event is to help some of our neighbors to have a happier Holiday season. Our Holiday Donation Drive is all about coming together to support those in need because we ALL need help at some point in this life so let's help others look up with hope instead of looking down in despair!We prefer items on the list below but 100% of monetary donations received by 12/18 will be used to purchase necessities and receipts can be provided for those who want/need it.FYI- Sponsor tickets will be for those who want their name/logo featured on a flyer and special recognition on the public page advertising this event.50% of the sponsor fund will go towards hosting the event at an indoor venue( if we raise enough) with the other 50% used to buy items or 100% will go to donations if we don't get a venue by 12/14. Whatever the outcome we will let our sponsors know how their contribution was used.Please help make this season brighter for those in our community!Items Wanted:For the health and safety of the recipients PLEASE try to donate non-perishable and/or unexpired food.Canned: Vegetables(i.e. green beans, corn, leafy greens, beans), Fruit(i.e. Apples, Pumpkin, Cherry, Peaches), Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, etc.Boxed: Stuffing, Cake Mix, Cornbread, Muffin Mix, Cereal, Pudding Mix, etc.Bottled: Gravy, Condiments, Drinks(water, soda, juice), etc.Packaged: Pastry(Pie, Croissants, etc.), Bread, Cookies, Cake, Etc.For those affected by homelessness we're also collecting: Tents, Sleeping Bags, Blankets, Socks, Gloves, Hats, Washcloths, Disinfectant Spray, Hot Hands Warmers, and similar items that'll help them this winter.Special Note:This event is mostly self funded so we're working to find a reasonable in door location that will not take away from the out of pocket amount we want to donate to those in need.If we're not able to find one by 12/14 then this event will be held at an outside location we can use which will be updated on here and sent to anyone who RSVP'd.We know winter weather can be frigid and unpredictible so if we have to do it outdoors we will be providing hot tea and cocoa to those who attend.If you're interested in getting involved, being a sponsor, have questions, know someone this could help and/or need assistance then contact us directly TaSaMic@Outlook.com.TaSaMic, Mac Playz, Realtor BeBe Stokes-Davis, and Fight 4 Our Youth THANK you so much for your support and generousity!About Fight 4 Our Youth: Fight 4 Our Youth is a youth led Initiative seeking to inspire youth, promote peace, raise awareness about issues affecting our youth, and help in our community.
