- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 31 Oct, 2026 at 05:00 pm – Sat, 31 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Windcraft Loud is counting ten years of creativity, collaborations, musical encounters and new paths, and is celebrating this with a series of events under the title Windcraft Back. The series brings collaborations born out of the organisation’s journey and that of the Windcraft Music Fest back into the spotlight. The concerts are complemented by music workshops, offering students, professionals and music lovers the opportunity to engage directly with acclaimed musicians from Cyprus and abroad.

In this workshop, Harris Lambrakis will offer a brief introduction to the modal music of the Eastern Mediterranean and the world of maqam. Starting from selected pieces from the modal music repertoire, we will explore different maqams through practice and gain an understanding of the theoretical framework underlying many modal musical traditions.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in exploring the melodic richness of these traditions, and welcomes participants of all instruments and levels.
