Την Κυριακή 20 Σεπτεμβρίου, η οδός Γλάδστωνος κλείνει για τα αυτοκίνητα και ανοίγει για εσάς!

Από τη συμβολή με τις οδούς Αγίας Ζώνης και Ανεξαρτησίας μέχρι την οδό Καραϊσκάκη, ο δρόμος μετατρέπεται σε χώρο για περπάτημα, ποδήλατο, παιχνίδι, δημιουργία και συνάντηση - για όλους και για κάθε ηλικία.

Η «Ημέρα Χωρίς Αυτοκίνητο» είναι η κεντρική δράση της Ευρωπαϊκής Εβδομάδας Κινητικότητας 2026, που πραγματοποιείται στη Λεμεσό από τις 16 έως τις 22 Σεπτεμβρίου με το μήνυμα «Κινητικότητα για Όλους». Η κυπριακή έκφραση «λάου λάου» σημαίνει «σιγά σιγά», μια πρόσκληση να αφήσουμε τη βιασύνη και να βιώσουμε την πόλη διαφορετικά.

On Sunday 20 September, Gladstonos Street closes to cars and opens to you!

From the Pentadromos junction all the way to Karaiskaki Street, the road becomes a space for walking, cycling, play, creativity and connection — for everyone, of every age.

Car-Free Day is the centrepiece of European Mobility Week 2026, taking place in Limassol from 16 to 22 September under the theme "Mobility for Everyone". The Cypriot expression "λάου λάου" (laou laou) means slowly, gently, without rush — an invitation to leave the hurry behind and experience the city differently.

Come as you are. Walk, cycle, stroll, roll. Bring your kids, your grandparents, your neighbours.
