- **Event Description**: For the fourth consecutive year, Cyprus will host the Iberoamerican Film Festival, celebrating the richness and diversity of Iberoamerican cinema through a curated selection of acclaimed films from across the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world.

The festival is organized by the Embassies of Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Portugal, and Spain, in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes de Nicosia and The Friends of Cinema Society.

The opening country in this year´s edition will be Mexico with the movie El Rey de todo el mundo (2021), directed by Carlos Saura. It will be screened on June 5th at Pantheon Cinema at 8 pm. Audiences will also be able to enjoy the remaining screenings at the same venue, with films starting at 8:30 p.m.

-June 16th – A Memória do Cheiro das Coisas (2025), directed by António Ferreira – Portugal

-June 19th – Manas (2024), directed by Marianna Brennand – Brazil

-July 2nd – Una noche con los Rolling Stones (2024), directed by Patricia Ramos – Cuba

All of them will be screened in their original language with English subtitles.

Admission is free to the public.

The Iberoamerican Film Festival continues to strengthen cultural ties between Cyprus and the Iberoamerican world, offering audiences the opportunity to experience award-winning cinema and contemporary storytelling from diverse cultures and perspectives.
