- **Event Description**: Με αφορμή τη Διεθνή Ημέρα Μουσείων 2026, το Κέντρο Εικαστικών Τεχνών και Έρευνας  προσφέρει δωρεάν το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα – εργαστήρι κεραμικής «Σημεία Σύνδεσης».

Το Κέντρο Εικαστικών Τεχνών & Έρευνας -CVAR, που βρίσκεται στο ιστορικό κέντρο της Λευκωσίας κοντά στην Πράσινη Γραμμή και οι συλλογές που φιλοξενεί, αντανακλούν ουσιαστικά το θέμα της Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας Μουσείων 2026 «Τα Μουσεία Ενώνουν έναν Διαιρεμένο Κόσμο».

Τα παιδιά ξεναγούνται στους χώρους του μουσείου και γνωρίζουν τους ανθρώπους του νησιού, τις καθημερινές τους ιστορίες και τις κοινές εμπειρίες που μοιράστηκαν μέσα στον χρόνο. Το πρόγραμμα ολοκληρώνεται με ένα  δημιουργικό εργαστήρι κεραμικής, όπου τα παιδιά φτιάχνουν με πηλό  γέφυρες που ενώνουν τα ενετικά τείχη της Λευκωσίας!

Οι συλλογές του Ιδρύματος Κώστα & Ρίτα Σεβέρη αποκαλύπτουν καθημερινές στιγμές ανθρώπων που έζησαν στην Κύπρο, μοιράστηκαν εμπειρίες, συνυπήρξαν μέσα στον χρόνο και στον ίδιο τόπο .Μέσα από την παρατήρηση έργων και τη συζήτηση, τα παιδιά ανακαλύπτουν ιστορίες συνύπαρξης, διαφορετικών πολιτισμών και κοινών εμπειριών, κατανοώντας πώς η τέχνη μπορεί να λειτουργήσει ως γέφυρα επικοινωνίας και αλληλοκατανόησης του άλλου.

To mark International Museum Day 2026, the Centre of Visual Arts and Research is offering the educational programme – ceramic workshop “Points of Connection” free of charge.

The Centre of Visual Arts & Research (CVAR), located near the Green Line, and the collections it houses, essentially reflect the theme of International Museum Day 2026: “Museums Unite a Divided World.”

Children are guided through the museum’s spaces and learn about the island’s people, their everyday stories, and the shared experiences they have had over time. The programme concludes with a creative pottery workshop, where children use clay to build bridges connecting the Venetian walls of Nicosia!

The collections of the Costas & Rita Severis Foundation reveal people who lived in Cyprus, shared experiences, and coexisted over time. Through observing artworks and discussion, children discover stories of coexistence, different cultures, and shared experiences, understanding how art can serve as a bridge for communication and understanding others.
