Βιωματικό εργαστήριο ενσυνειδητότητας και τέχνης για ενήλικες, εμπνευσμένο από την προσωρινή έκθεση «Χριστόφορος Σάββα: Απλά – Περίπλοκα – Αόρατα: Ένα άγνωστο αρχείο».

Η εμπειρία θα ξεκινήσει στην Πινακοθήκη και θα συνεχιστεί στο πάρκο με έναν αισθητηριακό περίπατο στη φύση.

Ο Χριστόφορος Σάββα πάντα πίστευε στη βαθιά σύνδεση του ανθρώπου με τη γη και τη φύση. Μεγαλωμένος στο χωριό του Μαραθόβουνου, όπως αναφέρει ο ίδιος, έζησε μέσα στα χρώματα της μεγάλης πεδιάδας της Μεσαορίας. Η σύνδεσή του αυτή με τη φύση επηρέασε βαθιά τη ζωγραφική του κατά τη διάρκεια της ζωής του.

Τα αφηρημένα τοπία του Σάββα θα γίνουν λοιπόν η αφορμή για ένα αισθητηριακό περίπατο στο πάρκο, όπου οι συμμετέχοντες θα συνδεθούν με τη φύση με όλες τους τις αισθήσεις. Δεν πρόκειται απλά για έναν περίπατο, αλλά για μια βαθιά, ενσυνείδητη σύνδεση με τη γη, το χώμα, τα φυτά και άλλα στοιχεία της φύσης. 

Με αυτήν τη σύνδεση, οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να ανακαλύψουν και να εκφράσουν τα συναισθήματά τους δημιουργώντας χάρτες συναισθημάτων. Οι χάρτες συναισθημάτων θα αποτελέσουν μια «καλλιτεχνική απεικόνιση» των εσωτερικών τοπίων που προκύπτουν από την αλληλεπίδραση του ατόμου με τη φύση.

‘Here and Now:
Awakening the senses with Art’

With Theodora Demetriou, Head of Education of the A. G. Leventis Gallery and Lenia Georgiou, Art therapist / Visual artist.

An experiential mindfulness and art workshop for adults, inspired by the A. G. Leventis Gallery’s temporary exhibition 'Christoforos Savva: Simple – Complex – Invisible: An unknown archive'.

The experience will begin at the Gallery and will continue in the park with a sensory walk in nature.

Christoforos Savva always believed in the deep connection of humans with the earth and nature. Born in the village of Marathovounos, as he himself described, he grew up surrounded by the colours of the great plain of Mesaoria. This connection with nature deeply influenced his art throughout his life.

Savva’s abstract landscapes will therefore become the starting point for a sensory walk in the park, where participants will connect with nature through all their senses. This is not simply a walk, but a deep, mindful connection with the earth, the soil, the plants and other elements of nature.

Through this connection, participants will have the opportunity to discover and express their emotions by creating emotional maps. These will serve as an ‘artistic representation’ of the inner landscapes that emerge from a person’s interaction with nature.
