The Rhea County Fair is excited to host our Second Annual Quilt Challenge during our 2026 Fair!
More information will be added to this event between now (November 23rd) and August. Please feel free to use the discussion section to ask questions or to bounce ideas/solutions off of each other. This event will be kept up to date with all of the need to know information.
Quilt Theme: Produce
Size: No Size Requirements
Quilts will be judged based on following the theme, difficulty of the pattern and quality of work.
Entries Due: Saturday, August 8th
Drop-Off Times:
10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Challenge Specific Awards Will Be Given
Fair Ribbons Will Also Be Awarded
Turn in entries at the Rhea County Fairgrounds located at 334 Eagle Lane, Evensville, behind the Health Department. Entries will remain on display throughout the Rhea County Fair. Pick-up for all entries will be Sunday, August 16th, following the Fair.

Other quilts and art pieces will also be accepted on the above date as exhibits for the 2026 Rhea County Fair. State level competition opportunities available.

Rules:
1.) Name, Address and Phone Number must be on each item before it is entered and placed where judges cannot see it.
2.) Item must have been created by the exhibitor unless otherwise noted.
3.) Only ONE (1) item per lot in each class may be entered per exhibitor.
4.) All garments must be on a hanger.
5.) The Fair reserves the right to refuse to exhibit any item deemed not suitable for public viewing.
6.) The Rhea County Fair is not responsible for theft, damages or breakage.
7.) All entries not claimed after the release date will become property of the Rhea County Fair. All entries must be picked up during the designated hours on the Sunday immediately following the last day of the fair.
8.) Quilt Challenge entries must have been completed in 2025 or 2026.
