All welcome to a Relaxed screening in Ullapool of Hoppers.
Our relaxed screenings are adapted to be welcoming to people with autism, other neurodivergence or additional support needs, or for anyone for whom a more flexible cinema experience would suit.
You can expect:
- No adverts or trailers
- Lights dimmed, not fully dark
- Sound at a lower volume
- Captions on screen
- A limited number of ear defenders available to borrow (suitable for child to adult sizes)
- Audiences are welcome to make noise or move as needed.
- We will reduce capacity on these screenings to allow more space between audience members.

Mabel is an animal-loving 19-year-old student whose biology professor has invented technology that ‘hops’ a human’s mind into a lifelike robot animal. When Mabel is transferred into a robotic beaver, she marvels at the ability to communicate with all living creatures, making unknown discoveries about them.
Finding herself in a unique position, Mabel convinces the local wildlife to disrupt construction plans that will destroy their habitat. But when the animals declare an outright uprising against all of humanity, Mabel must find a way to restore the balance between the two.
