Planting a prairie, whether it’s a small garden patch or across acres, can be ecologically, intellectually, and aesthetically. rewarding, while at the same time challenging. To lay the groundwork for your success, this interactive workshop will introduce you to the ecology of a prairie, and help you create a realistic plan for beginning your project.

Steve is a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP), and a certified fire-management burn boss. For 25 years, he oversaw the UW-Madison Arboretum’s ecological management of 1800 acres, at sites across the state. After the event, there will be time for Q&amp;A. Attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch.

$15 Workshop Fee. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited to 25 people. RSVP and sign up for updates here:
