- **Event Description**: Each year the Evansville community lights up AWARE’s Love Light Tree with honor and generosity—honor for those who have been special in our lives and generosity to people in our community who are experiencing hard financial times.

Through a donation of $10 or more to AWARE, you can add a light to the Love Light Tree. A white light will honor the memory of one who has passed, and a colored light will recognize a loved one, special friend, or relative who is living. Your donation will also do much more. It will support AWARE’s year-round work to provide food, clothing, and other items for the basic needs of Evansville families, including winter coats, Snackpackers food distributions, school supplies, holiday programs, rental assistance, and much, much more.

Donations may be sent directly to: AWARE, 25 W. Main St, Suite 4, Evansville and should include your name and address as well as the name of the person you would like to recognize. Donors may also include the name and address of an individual that you would like notified of the gift you have made. If your donation is received by Tuesday, November 25th, AWARE will recognize your honoree at the official tree lighting ceremony, Wednesday, November 26th at 5PM at the Grange Mall.

AWARE invites the Evansville community to attend this special event, hear the names of those near and dear to us, and watch the tree come to life as it is officially lit for the holiday season. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact AWARE at 608-882-9900 or aware@community-action.org.
