Join us for inspiration, community, and a hands-on exploration of some of the most interesting and exciting books about writing that are out there today.This month's book will be Melissa Febos's national bestseller . Discussion will be led by author Megan Stielstra.The meeting will include an optional happy hour, with time to mix and mingle, get a drink from the Mini Bar, and do a little browsing or book buying. Happy hour will be followed by ninety minutes of book discussion and guided, no-pressure writing prompts. You may leave with the start of a new story, essay, or poem!Tuition includes a copy of the book. You can pick up your book at the store or have it mailed to you.Megan Stielstra is the author of three collections: , , and . Her work appears in the Best American Essays, New York Times, The Believer, Poets & Writers, Tin House, and on National Public Radio. She teaches creative nonfiction at Northwestern University and is a senior acquiring editor with Northwestern University Press.
