The Great Wines of the Napa Valley

Napa put American viticulture on the world wine map in the 1970s, when wines from Stag’s Leap and Chateau Montelena bested their French counterparts in a major international tasting. And they’ve continued the magic, with viticulturalists carving out identities within each of Napa’s now 17 sub-appellations. Join us as we taste textbook examples of the wines that made the Napa Valley the cradle of our domestic wine civilization, and taste the differences in soil types and elevation in this famed, thirty-mile stretch.
