Speakers will explore the history of discrimination against Latino communities, current immigrant rights efforts in Evanston, and how you can stand in solidarity for justice. This event is hosted by the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary and the Rotary Club of Evanston. We are especially grateful for the leadership and partnership of Evanston Latinos, a nonprofit organization actively supporting, organizing, and advocating for immigrant and Latino residents in Evanston during this critical time; and the Evanston History Center, which helps elevate these stories, preserve community history, and deepen understanding across our community.
