She advances equity in organizations, creates healing- centered workshops for Black women, and inspires global exploration through her debut children’s book Journey with Jessie: From Chicago to Ghana. Growing up, oppressive systems placed limitations on her dreams. This book is a powerful testimony that she can go anywhere in the world—and so can others. Jessica is the founder of Transformation Lens LLC, a consulting practice that challenges traditional DEI efforts by centering community, authenticity, and healing. She is passionate about intergenerational healing, economic mobility, and legacy building. Jessica lives by the ethos: “If healing is not involved, systems will not evolve.About Victoria BoatengVictoria Boateng is a Black autistic teaching artist and founder of Victoria Djembe Academy and principal performer for Ayodele Drum and Dance. Through African drumming, she empowers people with disabilities to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with culture. Victoria advocates for inclusion, representation, and accessibility in the arts, using rhythm as a powerful tool for self-advocacy and community.
