EX INTERSERVICE LAWN BOWLS COMPETITION

Save the Date! As agreed at our AGM at Forster in May this year - and which we have been trying to establish for some years now - our inaugural Inter-Service competition for ex service men and women is finally being arranged.

Matelots are playing Ex-Army and Ex-RAAF at Yamba NSW on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th December. We are also looking at establishing a 'Mercaneraries' team to ensure everybody gets a bowl.

Put the dates in your calendar. We need 18 bowlers to play 3 bowl triples.

We play Army on Tuesday morning and then RAAF on Wednesday morning after sampling a bacon and egg roll.

We will have the presentations commencing around 1200'ish and then party on.

On Thursday morning 11th December we are hoping to organise a social game mixing the three teams together to promote friendship and camaraderie.
