Ages 10+ welcome.  (Students ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Class Fee:  $85/per month.

Classes take place in the main dojo at Arching Oaks Art and Culture Center.    Please bring a yoga mat and a beverage to drink. 

​These classes are designed for individuals of all experience and physical ability levels.  Your instructor is able to adapt yoga postures to accommodate each individual as needed.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: HEMA GOPIKA
Hema is an experienced yoga instructor (RYT 200) with over 20 years of personal practice and 15+ years of teaching experience. Trained in Ashtanga Yoga—especially Āsana and Prāṇāyāma—under traditional masters in India, certified in India & USA, she brings lineage-based knowledge and disciplined practice into her teaching.

Her classes are personalized and supportive, adapted to individual needs, goals, and health conditions, including therapeutic guidance when needed.

Practice & Studies
She currently practices Bhakti Yoga, integrating Asana, Pranayama, and Dhyana for personal growth, while studying Ayurveda for a holistic approach to wellness and mindful living.

Life Coaching & Vedic Wisdom
She offers life coaching rooted in Vedic scriptures, supporting clarity, purpose, and personal growth. She also shares knowledge of Ayurvedic cooking and nutrition, guiding seasonal and dosha-balanced living for overall well-being.

Background & Current Engagement
With 12+ years of international technical experience, she later transitioned fully into yoga, previously running studios in India and North Carolina. She is now based in Florida, contributing to the Veda Foundation farm community in DeLand, integrating yoga, service, and sustainable living. https://vedafoundation.net/
