# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Choral Evensong
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 16 Nov, 2025 at 06:00 pm
- **Event Description**: The Choir of St. Thomas is pleased to present a Choral Evensong in the Church Sunday the 16th of November at 6:00 PM. One of the treasures of the Prayer Book, Choral Evensong is a sung form of the daily Evening Prayer service. This service of the Word allows us to listen to the words of Scripture, particularly the Psalms, prayed to God as a form of worship. The service culminates in our joint expression of faith through the creed, and continues with a time of prayer. This contemplative form of worship is great for those who would like to worship God, but may prefer to participate more passively. The beautiful English Choral Tradition is on full display as the choir chants the Psalms, the Canticles, and offers an Anthem.

The service will be 30-45 minutes long and followed by a fellowship time in the Parish Hall.
