The Eureka Grant Summit: Preparing Eureka County for Strategic Growth and Industry Diversification is a three-day collaborative event designed to bring together community leaders, state partners, economic development organizations, grant professionals, healthcare providers, housing developers, and nonprofit organizations to plan for the future of Eureka County. With the anticipated activation of new gold mines and the economic expansion that will follow, this summit will focus on helping the community prepare for growth by connecting local leaders with the resources, partnerships, and funding opportunities needed to support sustainable development

The summit will begin with a Day One experience that provides attendees with direct insight into the region’s economic drivers. Participants will have the opportunity to tour local mining operations to better understand the scale of development and the workforce and infrastructure needs that accompany it. The day will conclude with a networking dinner, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect with community leaders, industry representatives, and partner organizations while discussing the opportunities and challenges that come with rapid rural growth.

Days Two and Three will feature a series of presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities focused on preparing Eureka County for the impacts of economic expansion. Sessions will explore key topics including strategic planning, federal and state grant funding opportunities, rural economic development, workforce housing, healthcare capacity, entrepreneurship, and community infrastructure.

Participants will hear from experts across Nevada about how rural communities can strengthen grant readiness, build partnerships, and leverage available funding to support long-term community development. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect directly with funding partners, developers, and organizations that support rural economic development and community planning.

Discussions throughout the summit will address critical issues such as housing development, workforce needs, healthcare system capacity, small business growth, and community infrastructure, all essential components of sustaining rural growth and maintaining strong, resilient communities.

The Eureka Grant Summit is designed to foster collaboration, share resources, and develop actionable strategies that will help ensure Eureka County is prepared for future growth while maintaining the strength and character of its rural community. By bringing together experts, funders, and local leaders, the summit aims to support strategic planning and identify opportunities that will help build a thriving and sustainable future for Eureka County.
