Your guide then leads the group to the third floor, where you’ll descend the “fireproof” hotel exits to reach the Spa1905 Deck. Against the Basin Bluff backdrop, enjoy your second tasting, a 2008 Opus One paired with a light bite, as the hidden “trout” spring story comes to life.

The experience continues into the Bootlegger’s Cave, once a secret speakeasy. Here, the Dickel Brand Ambassador presents a flight of three whiskies, explaining their distillation and flavor profiles while sharing a few of the hotel’s more mysterious tales—just in case any spirits decide to join in.

The evening concludes through the Rabbett Hole at Jack Rabbett’s Whisky Bar, ending in JR’s Game Room surrounded by the Basin Park Hotel archives. Relax, explore, and enjoy a moment to soak in the atmosphere before you go.
