Mark your calendar for Flight Night on Saturday, November 15—a progressive evening of tastings, stories, and spirited encounters, with tours beginning every 30 minutes.
Your journey starts on the top floor of the Basin Park Hotel with a Huckleberry surprise. Groups of ten gather in the historic Barefoot Ballroom, where tales of its past echo through the room, from unforgettable antics of Joe Parkhill to iconic performances that once filled the stage.
Next, head up to the Crow’s Nest for a sweeping view over downtown Eureka Springs. Here, you’ll enjoy your first “flight” with a selection of craft beers while taking in the sights from this high vantage point.
The adventure continues to the hotel’s third floor, where you’ll descend the “fireproof” exits to the Spa1905 Deck. With the Basin Bluff as your backdrop, sip on a wine spritzer paired with a light snack while learning the story of the hidden “trout” spring.
From there, meet the General Manager and step into the Bootlegger’s Cave, a storied speakeasy, for a pour of the exclusive 2008 Opus One. As you savor the wine, paranormal equipment will be introduced to see if any other “spirits” might make an appearance.
Follow your guide through the Rabbett Hole to Jack Rabbett’s Whisky Bar for a tasting of the signature Jack Rabbett Select. A Dickel Brand Ambassador will be on hand to share insights into the whisky’s distinct process and flavor profile.
Flight Night concludes in JR’s Game Room, where you’ll be surrounded by the Basin Park Hotel archives. Unwind with your final tasting and take in the layered history of the hotel.
