Robert Bohall is a versatile pianist, composer, and educator with a rich background in jazz and choral music. He holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz Piano from the University of Oregon, where he also served as a graduate educator in the Jazz Studies department. Recognized for his talents, Robert received a Downbeat Magazine Award in the 47th Annual Student Music Awards as pianist and composer for Jazzarts Oregon, which won the "Top Graduate Ensemble" award. He has been honored as both the Outstanding Undergraduate Performer (2021) and the Outstanding Graduate Performer (2023) in the Jazz Studies department at the University of Oregon.

Robert performs well over 100 gigs annually throughout Oregon as a freelance pianist. He has performed with groups such as Inner Limits, Orchestra Next, Oregon Jazz Ensemble, Jazzarts Oregon, University of Oregon Chamber Choir, Newport Symphony, Cottage Grove High School choirs, Western Oregon University choirs, and extensive work as a side man, playing many one-off gigs. He has shared the stage with several locally known musicians such as Steve Owen, Tyler Abbot, Will Glausi, Nik Barber, Robert Lassila, Eli Hansen, Charlie Doggett, Idit Shner, Paul Krueger, Joe Manis, Garrett Baxter, Jack Radsliff, Ben Harris, and many more.

Robert’s compositions have been performed by esteemed ensembles including The Oregon Jazz Ensemble, The University of Oregon Chamber Choir, and Jazzarts Oregon. Notably, Western Oregon University featured him as a guest composer in their choral department in 2024, and afterwards commissioned him to write a new choral piece for them to perform in their 2024-25 school year, resulting in his piece “Adoro Te Devote.” His music is available on all major streaming platforms, with his latest album titled "Standards: Vol. 1."

In addition to his performing and composing career, Robert co-hosts the jam at The Jazz Station in downtown Eugene. He also teaches privately and at the Lassen Piano Studio. As a choral musician, Robert serves as a bass section leader for the Eugene Symphony Chorus and has performed in The Bach Festival Chorus for three seasons.

Jake Chaffee is a bassist, visual artist, and ambient music producer based in Eugene, OR. With roots in Southern California and Texas, he has performed widely as a freelance musician and released several EPs under the name JEC. Known for his immersive ambient livestreams and a joyful, expressive stage presence, Jake blends technical skill with a deep love of musical exploration.

Luke Turner is a saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and educator based in Eugene, OR. Having a deep love for music throughout his whole life, he became enamored with playing saxophone during middle school. In that time, he began playing in the school’s jazz band, which began his journey of delving deep into the jazz idiom - his largest influence today.

An active performer throughout the PNW, he finds himself playing as both a sideman and leader in a variety of musical settings, from classic and contemporary jazz, to R&B and indie. As a bandleader, he frequently puts on projects showcasing his own compositions and arrangements. In March of 2025, he released his debut album, Rainwalk, which features seven original compositions and one standard. In his music, he strives to show his appreciation for those who have made the music what it is today, while also bringing his own conglomeration of sounds to the table. As a sideman, he has performed with Keith Brown, Torrey Newhart’s Obsidian Animals, the Eugene Symphony, Robert Lasilla Nonet, BendretheGiant, Nathan Poehlke Big Band, Monday Night Big Band, and more.

Currently pursuing his Master’s in Jazz Studies at the University of Oregon, he has had the privilege of performing in the Downbeat award-winning Oregon Jazz Ensemble and the JazzArts Oregon Ensemble - the two top ensembles the school has to offer. During his time here, he has had the opportunity of performing alongside artists such as Adam Larson, Remy LeBeouf, Braxton Cook, Francisco Torres, Matt Sazima, Rafael Abdallah, and many more. Luke has spent his time in his undergrad studying with Idit Shner, Paul Krueger, Steve Owen, Keith Brown, and Joe Manis - some of the area’s best musical minds.

In addition to performing, Luke regularly teaches private music lessons, directs school ensembles, and coaches small student ensembles at the UO’s Jazz Improvisation Summer Camp and their Day of Improvisations.

Hailing from Vancouver Washington, Nik Barber is one of the excited young accomplished drummers in the Pacific Northwest. In 2024, Barber received a Master’s Degree in Drum Set Performance from the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR, and currently keeps a busy teaching, recording, and performing schedule in the Portland Metro Area. Since 2022, Barber has been performing nationally with the Platinum Record achieving group “Cherry Poppin’ Daddies” playing venues such as The Blue Note Hawaii, Dimitrou’s Jazz Alley, SuperNova Ska Fest, and several Performing Arts Venues around the country. Barber also performs regularly with the Fusion trio Poikilo, of which recently played the Montavilla Jazz Festival, and has a weekly residency at Xport Rooftop lounge. Outside of the Jazz idiom, Barber also performs with Laundry (rock band with over 3 million internet streams) Mister Heavy (up and coming hard-psych rock band) and Big Spender (jazz-singer songwriter band). Barber also currently holds a private lesson studio, in addition to teaching at Vancouver Music Academy, and Vancouver School of Arts and Academics, both of which are in his hometown of Vancouver, WA.
