Artists of ALL ages are invited to enter the Y's Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Think beyond jack o' lanterns and let your creativity shine with paint, glitter, bedazzling, googly eyes and anything else you can think of! Winners will be chosen in a variety of age categories, plus a category for family entries.
Details:
- Entry is FREE!
- Entries can be dropped off in the Y's Lobby any time on Wednesday, Oct. 29
- Entrants must fill out an entry form when they drop off their pumpkin (contact details will be kept confidential)
- Age categories: 9 and under, 10 to 15, 16 and older, or family (for mixed teams of kids and adults)
- Winners will be contacted on Friday, Oct. 31
- Pumpkins must be collected by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31; unclaimed pumpkins will be used as decorations at the Y's Halloween Party!
Rules:
- 1 entry per individual or team, please
- Keep designs PG-rated—nothing super scary!
- No flames, flashing lights or other safety hazards
- No audio features
