This large ensemble, directed by UO Professor Emeritus of Jazz Studies, Steve Owen, is home to many of the region’s top professional players that meet every first Monday of the month to play compositions from classic works by Basie and Ellington to pieces written by contemporary composers.
 
The second set is opened-up for local students and community musicians to sit-in with band members to play together. It is an exciting evening where audience members enjoy music rarely performed and heard in a club setting.
 
$15 general admission | $5 to sit in with the band
 
7:00 PM - 9:30 PM 

All proceeds from this event will go back to venue.
