About the Instructor
Laura Taylor is a well-known local dance instructor who teaches Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dance as well as Night Club Two Step, West Coast Swing and Cross Step/Fusion Waltz all with a focus on social dance. She has formal training at both the Portland and Eugene Arthur Murray Dance Studios.


She, along with her husband, Robert Phaigh, teach private lessons and group classes. Laura also enjoys teaching many wedding couples each year and they have an Adult Dance Performance Group that performs locally.


They also teach for many groups and organizations in the area and frequently teach for the Eugene/Springfield USA Dance Chapter. They have also been past officers and instructors for the U of O Ballroom Dance Club, and Laura worked as an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Oregon Dance Department
and Bushnell University. They have also provided dance lessons or programs for; Altair Sports Club, EWEB Employees Association and have worked with youth at Ridgeline Montessori School, the Home School Association and Marist Catholic High School (at their Father/Daughter, Mother/Son Dances).
