Cedar Wright, climber filmmaker, writer, paragliding pilot and god among men :) is our special guest speaker.  He and his wife have both experienced Spinal Cord Injuries. 

Money raised from ticket sales and auction items will go directly to Unite 2 Fight Paralysis’ work to accelerate treatments and functional recovery research for folks living with a spinal cord injury (SCI). 

U2FP has achieved outsized impact by operating where community, research, and policy intersect. We recently restored $33 million in federal SCIRP funding and secured SCI's first inclusion in PRMRP, demonstrating our legislative effectiveness. Our educational platforms—CureCast reaching 50 countries, Headline Patrol articles, and partnerships with leading rehabilitation hospitals—translate complex science while elevating patient voices in research discussions. Through our Annual Symposium and ongoing advocacy, we've proven that peer-led organizations can reshape research priorities, influence policy, and empower the community with the knowledge needed for informed self-advocacy.
