What is Kirtan?
Kirtan is transcendental spiritual music and a meditation practice also described as Bhakti Yoga or Nada Yoga. Its origins come from Eastern Indian and Budhist culture.
Kirtan is a call and response chanting from the vocal leader to the audience, who then recites or echos back the same lyrics. By chanting in this way, the sounds and voices raise a very high conscious vibration that reverberates within and outside of you, opening up energy channels.
This practice calms and quiets the mind. You don't need to have any previous experience to attend a Kirtan. All spiritual faiths are welcome.


$20 - 30 Donation at the door
Pay Cash or with Venmo (settings on friends and family)
Bring yoga blanket or cushions and perhaps a bottle of water. Chairs will be available. Mask wearing is optional.


The event is downstairs in the church.
Enter through the front door.

Free on-street parking.
** Vehicles: Parking and Standing Restrictions
Vehicles must be parked on the street or in the public lot behind the Police Station. Please note signed restrictions on parking in the central aisle of the public lot. No vehicles may be parked in the lot of the Village Restaurant. No parking or standing is permitted in the driveway by the lower Church entrance: this driveway belongs to our neighbor and is in constant use.

** Alcohol, Smoking, Drugs, and Weapons
Alcohol use is permitted with the approval of the Board of Trustees. Alcohol may not be served to minors. Under no circumstances shall alcohol be sold on the premises.
Smoking and drugs are not allowed anywhere on Church grounds. No weapons may be brought onto Church grounds except Police Officers during their duties.
