On Thursday, December 18, the Scottsville Elementary PTO is excited to host our first ever Holiday Family Movie Night at the Yancey Community Center and everyone is welcome.

This event is open to the entire Scottsville community, not just Scottsville Elementary families. Bring your kids, invite your neighbors, and come enjoy a cozy night out together.

Doors open at 6:30 PM
Movie begins at 7:00 PM

Please note: Thursday, December 18 is the last day of school for ACPS, which is why we’re hosting this special event that evening.

? Admission - FREE

To help us manage capacity at Yancey, we ask families to reserve free tickets in advance. Tickets are $0.

An optional donation box will be available at checkout for those who wish to support future PTO events, but donations are never expected or required.

? Come Cozy
Think blankets, pillows, pajamas, all the comfy vibes. Chairs are welcome too. We’ll have a designated area in the back so everyone can see.

? Concessions
Popcorn, drinks, and candy will be available for purchase.

We accept cash, check, and Venmo.

❤️ Holiday Food Drive
We’ll be collecting donations to help stock the Scottsville Library’s food pantry for the holidays.

The most helpful items are shelf stable, quick prep foods, especially items that only need water or are ready to heat and eat. Examples include instant potatoes, mac and cheese boxes, complete pancake mixes, oatmeal, microwaveable soups, Chef Boyardee, peanut butter, canned vegetables and fruit, granola bars, crackers, and shelf stable milk.
