AniPop 2026

Get excited for the return of AniPop - the newest and kawaiiest anime convention in Escondido, in north San Diego County!

We want you to celebrate all things kawaii in Anime! Taking place Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, expect to be overloaded with kawaii awesomeness, with panels, vendors, artists, entertainment, and more!

Event will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Make it POP!

Reselling, sharing, or transferring a AniPop badge/wristband or complimentary pass is strictly prohibited. If this is violated and ownership cannot be proved, the badge/wristband will be revoked and canceled without refund.

Refund policy - refunds for tickets will be honored until the day before the event. No refunds will be given on or after the event date. If you buy a ticket and do not attend the event (or did not like the event), you will not be refunded (this applies to you and to whatever situation you explain - no exceptions, there are no refunds on or after the event). Eventbrite fees are only refunded by Eventbrite.

AniPop reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at the event, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. We may use the photograph/video in publications or other media materials.

By attending AniPop or by failing to notify us, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph or image used, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify AniPop from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

AniPop is dedicated to ensuring our event is a safe environment for all participants. We have a zero tolerance policy for any and all harassment towards fellow attendees, artists, vendors, performers, special guests, event staff, and other event personnel. Anyone attending the event who engages in the following behavior below will have their passes confiscated, and then be ejected from the event without a refund.

Harrassment includes and is not limited to:

• verbal harassment
• video-recording without explicit verbal consent or permission
• photos without their explicit verbal consent or permission
• stalking or following other guests
• nonconsensual physical contact

Just don't be a creep; be cool and treat everyone with respect, and everything will be cool.
