🔥 On December 2nd, Kulturfabrik welcomes Pongo for a powerful night celebrating one of the boldest and most exciting voices in contemporary global music. 

Originally from Luanda and raised in Lisbon, Pongo has created a sound entirely her own - shaped by movement, identity and unstoppable energy. She broke onto the international scene at just 16 years old with the viral anthem “Kalemba (Wegue Wegue)”, and quickly became a defining figure of modern Afro-fusion.

Blending kuduro, Afrobeats, electronic textures and infectious rhythms, Pongo is renowned for her explosive live shows and magnetic stage presence. From her standout COLORSxSTUDIOS performance to acclaimed releases like Sakidila, Pongo Baddie and “Kuzola” - featured on FIFA 23 - her music continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Awarded the Music Moves Europe Talent Award in 2020 and nominated for the 2024 Kora Awards, Pongo enters 2026 with “Banana”, a vibrant new single full of warm grooves, Afrobeats influences and a playful Patois-infused flow.
