Atelier drop-in - installation participative - Format 3 Magnet Wall, 2026 En continu entre 10h-16h30 Format 3 est une œuvre en cours des artistes danoises Louise Foo et Martha Skou (FOO/SKOU) qui explore comment le son peut être expérimenté à travers des supports visuels, physiques et virtuels. Au centre de l’œuvre se trouve une partition graphique composée de quatre-vingt-un symboles formant un alphabet musical. Grâce à une application personnalisée et des interfaces spatiales, les visiteurs peuvent activer les formes pour déclencher des sons, des échantillons et des synthèses, transformant la notation visuelle en un environnement sonore interactif. L’œuvre s’inspire des traditions de la musique expérimentale et de la notation graphique tout en les étendant à des formes spatiales, tactiles et contemporaines. Dans la version pour état bruit à la Konschthal, un mur magnétique interactif fonctionne comme une partition visuelle collective. Les visiteurs peuvent réarranger les symboles, permettant à la composition d’évoluer en continu grâce à la participation du public, transformant l’espace en un site dynamique d’écoute et d’exploration partagée. Performance - Occurence par Jérôme Grievel 17h00 – 17h15 Dans sa série de performances Occurrence, Jérôme Grivel explore ce qu’il nomme des « gestes vocaux », un répertoire mêlant aussi bien chants traditionnels, techniques de musiques extrêmes que sonorités à la limite des capacités humaines. Muni d’un micro et d’une pédale d’effet permettant d’enregistrer des boucles sonores, il se livre à un exercice où les sons qu’il produit sont aussitôt rediffusés et amplifiés, se surajoutant les uns aux autres. L’artiste est ainsi constamment contraint d’augmenter le volume de sa voix pour passer par-dessus celui de la machine. Il se livre à un exercice d’épuisement où la production physique tente de concurrencer la retransmission technique, explorant ainsi les limites du corps humain. Dans leur succession, ses sons produisent une rythmique où le passé immédiat se superpose au présent : une constante réécriture du même geste s’opère dans un palimpseste à l’intensité toujours plus forte. À travers cette fuite en avant vouée à l’échec, Jérôme Grivel noue une filiation avec des champs de la création a priori éloignés qu’il réunit dans un même élan – ou cri. Dans ses performances, comme dans le reste de sa pratique, Jérôme Grivel travaille sur des zones de tangence et d’ambivalence où rien n’est tout à fait ce qu’il paraît être. Elles sont pour lui autant de métaphores sur nos identités fluides et des cris face aux l’absurdité et aux surenchères de nos sociétés. Using a custom app and spatial interfaces, visitors can activate the shapes to trigger sounds, samples, and synthesis, transforming visual notation into an interactive sound environment. Performance - Occurence by Jérôme Grievel 17h00 – 17h15 In his series of performances Occurrence, Jérôme Grivel explores what he calls “vocal gestures”, a repertoire that blends traditional singing, extreme music techniques, and sounds that push the limits of human capacity. Equipped with a microphone and an effects pedal that allows him to record sound loops, he engages in an exercise where the sounds he produces are immediately replayed and amplified, layering one upon another. The artist is thus constantly compelled to increase the volume of his voice in order to rise above that of the machine. He undertakes an exercise in exhaustion in which physical production attempts to compete with technical reproduction, thereby exploring the limits of the human body. In their succession, his sounds create a rhythm in which the immediate past overlaps with the present: a constant rewriting of the same gesture unfolds like a palimpsest of ever-increasing intensity. Through this forward flight, doomed to fail, Jérôme Grivel establishes a connection with fields of creation that may at first seem distant, bringing them together in a single impulse - or cry. Durch diese zum Scheitern verurteilte Vorwärtsbewegung knüpft Jérôme Grivel Verbindungen zu scheinbar weit voneinander entfernten Feldern der künstlerischen Praxis und vereint sie in einem gemeinsamen Impuls – oder Schrei.
