We recently met with the organ club to discuss the next steps in restoring our two-ton Wurlitzer theatre organ, and one thing quickly became clear—we could use some help.

On April 4th at 1:00 PM, we’re hosting an Organ Club Member & Volunteer Drive. This meeting will focus on organizing fundraising efforts and planning upcoming work days where we’ll need skilled carpenters to assist with sanding, staining, and other restoration work.

The project is estimated to cost around $80,000 to fully restore and install what will become the world’s oldest playable Wurlitzer theatre organ. We do have a promising grant opportunity that could cover a significant portion of the cost, but additional community support will be essential to make this vision a reality.
