Spring League 2026
Shoots:
1. Shooting will take place on eight successive Thursday evenings beginning on April 9,
2026 and ending May 28, 2026.
2. Each evening’s program consists of 25 16-yard targets and 25 21-yard targets.
3. Shooting starts at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday nights. Squads and makeup shooters may be allowed to start earlier at the discretion of shoot management.
4. Score sheets will not be issued until all squad members are paid, present and ready to
shoot.
5. Trap assignments are as determined by shoot management. Every effort will be made to rotate squads evenly though all trap fields as circumstances allow.
Allowable Shotshell Loads:
1. Maximum allowable load is 1-1/8 ounce, 7-1/2 or 8 shot, 1200 fps velocity at 16 yard and 1250 fps velocity at 21 yards.
2. ESC does not have ammunition for sale.
Cost:
1. Shoot cost for adults is $180 per person for all 8 weeks if paid in advance at the first
shoot.
The cost is $25 per person each week if paid weekly. The cost for a full squad of five paid in advance is $900.
2. Shoot cost for juniors (those who have not reached their 18th birthday as of April 9, 2026) is $130 per person for all 8 weeks if paid in advance at the first shoot. The cost is $20 per
person each week if paid weekly. The cost for a full squad of five juniors paid in advance is $650.
3. Cost includes 2 awards dinner tickets per paid shooter. Additional dinner tickets may be purchased for $20 per person.
4. Cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards are accepted for payment.
Make-up shoots:
1. Make-up rounds may only be shot on Thursday nights.
2. Only one make-up can be shot on any given Thursday night.
3. Two make-ups are allowed during weeks 1 through 4 and two make-ups are allowed during weeks 5 through 8.
4. For any missed shoots at the end of week 4 and the end of week 8, a score calculated as 90% of the shooter’s averaged scores will be substituted.
Scoring:
1. Check you score immediately after shooting. Once scores are entered at the office corrections can no longer be made.
2. Divisions will be classified after the fourth week as evaluated by shoot management.
3. Divisions will be posted the fifth week.
Awards dinner:
1. The awards dinner will be held Saturday May 30, 2026 in the Escalon Sportsmens Club banquet hall. The bar opens at 5:00 p.m. with dinner served at 6:00 p.m.
2. Included in the shoot cost are 2 awards dinner tickets per paid shooter. Additional dinner tickets may be purchased for $20 per person.
