The 11th Annual Independence Ball will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2024 at 6 PM – 11 PM in the Sterling Event Center next to St. Barbara’s Church located at 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd. Independence, KY 41018.
Purpose: Establish a fun-filled evening for the City of Independence to honor and recognize its Veterans, Key Citizens, and impactful Businesses through a “formal” dinner and dance celebration/ceremony.
The plan is to have a Veterans Day focused Dinner and Dance on November 9th, 2024 that will incorporate many of the aspects of a Military Formal Dining Out (the fun associated with the event), but to also provide the opportunity to recognize a Distinguish Veteran, Citizen, Police, Fire, Business and a Legacy award to who have gone above and beyond for the local community and its veterans.
