The Chrism Mass

The Diocese of Erie invites you to the Chrism Mass celebrated by Bishop Lawrence T. Persico on Monday, March 30, 2026, at St. Peter Cathedral in Erie.

At this liturgy, the holy oils used for sacraments throughout the year are blessed and consecrated, and priests from across the diocese renew their priestly promises — a powerful sign of unity in the church.
