I like to have a conversation to better understand their attention span, interest, and experience before enrolling them to ensure they have the maturity and basic knowledge necessary for this workshop.Workshop Details:Date: Tuesday, September 22ndTime: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PMCost: $80 per learnerThis is a 4.5-hour workshop, which includes approximately 4 hours of painting time and a 30-minute lunch break. The extended format gives us plenty of time to work through the painting at a comfortable pace while allowing for the drying time that is so important when working with watercolor.Lunch Break: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PMPlease bring your own lunch, snack, and drink. I’ll walk students through the painting step by step, focusing on watercolor techniques that can also be applied to future paintings.Materials Provided:I supply all necessary watercolor materials, including high-quality watercolor paints, brushes, and paper. Using quality materials helps create more predictable results and allows students to focus on learning and enjoying the painting process.Instructor:I have been painting with watercolors for over 20 years and teaching art for the past 10 years. My step-by-step, instructor-led lessons focus on fundamental watercolor techniques, helping students understand how watercolor behaves and how to apply those skills to their own paintings.Classroom Environment:My home studio provides a quiet and relaxing space where students can explore their creativity, build confidence, and encourage one another.
