- **Event Description**: As America approaches its 250th birthday, Ephrata will honor the millions who have defended our freedom with the annual Veterans Day Luminary Trail on Monday, November 11, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Winters Leadership Memorial along the Winters Memorial Trail.

This year marks a special milestone as Wreaths Across America joins the ceremony for the first time, offering attendees a new way to honor veterans throughout the holiday season.

Over 500 luminaries will illuminate the Veterans Plaza and Winters Memorial Trail, honoring the more than 41 million Americans who have served in the U.S. Military. Since 2014, this moving tribute has become one of Ephrata's most cherished community events.
"As we commemorate 250 years of American freedom, there's no better time to honor those who have protected it," said Joy Ashley, Executive Director of Mainspring of Ephrata.

The tribute begins at sunset and is free and open to all, inviting visitors to walk through the illuminated trail in remembrance and gratitude.

Event Highlights

The event features several meaningful additions to enhance the experience:
• Hogs & Heroes Foundation PA2 Chapter presenting a patriotic
   flag line
• Patriotic music provided by Roger Fitzwater and Woodcrest
   Audio
• Fulton Elementary School students placing mini flags along the
   trail
• Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company displaying a large American Flag
   via ladder truck
• Local Boy Scouts assisting with luminary placement
• Refreshments available from Griddle & Grind Cafe & Creperie
