Let's Reunite...for the 4th annual Fyr Bal paddle!
We aim to dress up in witch costumes and paddle around on paddle boards to scare away the winter witch!

For no other reason than pure enjoyment. 

EVENT
10:30: Arrive, set up, inflate boards, mingle

11:00: Launch!
Please don’t be late. Please don’t start blowing up an inflatable board at launch time.

LOCATION: Ephraim Public Beach

SOME NOTEWORTHY FYR BAL DEETS:

*Hwy 42 from Moravia to Cedar St will be closed, so if you are coming from the North, you can get to Ephraim Public Beach  via Moravia or German Rd.

PREPARE
Attire:
Come appropriately dressed. Remember that June water temps are still quite cold. Attire to consider wearing & bringing: witch hat, witch costume. Keep in mind that you probably want tight attire. You do not want flowing sleeves or bottoms to be the reason you fall in the water.
Equipment:
Bring your paddle board (or kayak or canoe or whatever) & life jacket (it’s the law!) Please no motorized boats as we all aim to avoid any kind of wake, if possible.
Other Items:
•A towel, to dry off, if you get wet.
•Cash & ID (so you can partake in the food & bev when we land at the festival).

SAFETY
It may be windy and cold. You are responsible for your own safety. If you fall in, it may be best to immediately go to shore, dry off, change into spare clothes, wrap yourself in blankets, etc. 

INVITE
Please recruit people you know who have access to a paddle board. INVITE them to the event, so they have the deets. All are welcome. The more the merrier.
