- **Event Description**: Here’s your chance to show some love for your favorite mountain, join in the annual Mountain Clean-Up.About this EventJoin us on Friday, July 11th from 10 am to 3 pm to seek out those tiny pieces of trash and recyclables we haven't yet discovered. Prizes will be awarded in various categories for the most interesting finds.Participants will receive a trash bag, trail snacks and assigned a clean up zone upon check in at the base area. From there, you’ll proceed to your assigned area to collect litter while hiking down and soaking up the beauty of the Cascade range. After turning in & weighing your trash back at the base area, we invite you to hang out on the sun deck, eat some food and soak up the sun. At 2:30pm we’ll announce the winners of the treasure hunt.PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE. Event registration is limited to 100 total participants. Participants must pre-register. To show our appreciation, we are offering trash collectors trail snacks, free ride up the Mt. Rainier Gondola and lunch upon completion.
