Wat nu als je een zangeres tegenkomt met een dijk van een stem…… “And she loves the blues, cares about the funk and has a heart of soul…”
Dat overkwam de boys van Murphy McCoy.

De Hammond sound van toetsenist Nico van Houten, de groove van drummer Tom Wijnen, een deinende bas (of was het “deinumde’ bas) van Bert van Keulen en de “Strat”ragger Bert van de Werfhorst hadden plat gezegd een strot nodig! En die heeft ….. Gwen Lemmens…. DJ en singer/performer van het eerste uur.

Samen weten ze de kroegen in beweging te brengen en te laten dampen/stampen met de mix van blues, soul en funk.
(On)bekend werk of eigen nummers, via Murphy McCoy gaat het erin als een coole cocktail or special beer.
