Support the Winery on Small Business Saturday

Yes we know Ohio State plays Michigan. Whoever made Small Business Saturday on the same day as the big game really put us at a disadvantage. We have tried for years and many different things to get people to show us support on this day. Small businesses are struggling everywhere so if you don’t come see us please support some small business this year on small business Saturday. Chuck the malls, targets, Walmarts, Olive Gardens, Texas Roadhouses, and all the rest of the chains and big corporate owned businesses for this one day. Show the mom and pop shops that you appreciate all the hard work they put into creating and running a small business in this current world and economy. Can you imagine a world without small businesses? What a boring world it would be. So many people don’t think about how hard business owners work and don’t often even support or appreciate them fully until they are on the way to closing down. It’s no secret the wine industry has suffered all over the state and country. Can you imagine if your only choice of buying wine is going to the grocery store and randomly

Then you are left praying this one is good enough to drink cause you never get to sample it before purchasing like at wineries. Can you imagine not being able to do wine trails and experience the fun and excitement of visiting Ohio wineries? Here’s your heads up that wineries are suffering just like restaurants and shops. We always wait to decide what hours to open on Small Business Saturday so we don’t conflict with the game. So watch Ohio State crush Michigan then come with your friends and enjoy a wine tasting, or some warm mulled wine and an appetizer. Or call Bentinos in Yellow Springs and have a pizza delivered and play some games. Do a little shopping from our gift shop for Christmas as everything is 10% off for this weekend only.
