New Priest to join Bro Enlli

We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Revd Jane Finn as Pilgrim Priest to be located in Aberdaron. Entrusted with guiding the spiritual journey of pilgrims and tourists – and those new to the Christian faith – Jane will bring renewed energy to one of the ancient pilgrimage sites of Gwynedd.

Jane says, “I am absolutely delighted to accept this exciting new role in the Diocese of Bangor, to be a visible presence, and develop a ministry of welcome and hospitality to pilgrims on their spiritual journey. I am passionate about accompanying people on their faith journeys, and with a long interest and ministry in writing, developing, and leading pilgrimage, I am delighted to be taking up this vital role. I look forward to following in ancient steps to carry the gospel message of love and hope to others.“

The Vicar and Ministry Area Leader for Bro Enlli, the Revd Rhun ap Robert says, “This is an exciting time for Bro Enlli as we look forward very much to welcoming Jane into our midst. We pray for Jane as she prepares to move and take on this new role as a Pilgrim Priest. Jane will of course be following in the footsteps of Cadfan and his companions who have offered hospitality to pilgrims on their way to Enlli over the centuries, not only providing sanctuary, but ensuring that the Christian faith continues to this day."

Jane will be licensed on Sunday, 21 April, at 5pm in St Hywyn’s Church, Aberdaron.
