The time has come to once again announce the Swords of Imbolg. This year our flagship two day event will be slightly different.
Saturday 31st of January will be the first leg of the IHFL 2026; featuring two tier longsword action.
Day two will take us to a mysterious second location for a longsword class delivered by the talented Connor Kemp-Cowell of Caledonian Sword Guild. Rated in the top 2% globally he literally wrote the book on Vadi and has lots to teach us. More details to follow.
The second location is Flagmount Community Hall - just 13 minutes aaway from Feakle (

In between there will be the usual Saturday evening meal and jaunt to a local hostelry for refreshments as the night progresses.
As you know Feakle has limited space in the hall so we limit fighters on Saturday to 40 (split over the two tiers), the Sunday class will be limited to 30 scholars, but the Feakle hall will also be available for all day free sparring if you don’t get a place.
The hostel beds are there for the first 13 people to book, limited additional local accommodation is available and I will supply deets once the hostel is full.
Pricing as follows:
Tournament entry: €50
Class: €20
Dinner: €15 (payable at time of booking now)
Hostel Bed: €40
**Please message me directly to secure your spot!**
As always I accept Revolut, PayPal, gold Krugerrands, bearer bonds and handfuls of conflict diamonds.
*No bookings are final until I have got full payment off ya!*
