Clare Arts Office in conjunction with Clare Museum is delighted to present the Polish Festival Art and Photography Exhibition 2025 at the Clare Museum featuring Anna Podlewska and Anna Kacprzak.
Anna Podlewska is a painter, print maker and textile designer. Graduating from the University of Arts London, 2011, she worked as a textile designer in London and the US, relocating to Ireland in 2021.
Focusing on oil painting and screen printing, favouring these mediums vivid pigments and textures. Bold colour is integral, and compositions explore interactions between abstract forms and vibrant hues.
In this series Anna draws on shapes and perspectives found in Brutalist architecture, both in London and Eastern Europe.
Anna Kacprzak is a visual artist, and project coordinator located in Co. Clare.
Anna has an MA in International Relations and comes from an art focused background. Her primary interest is photography. She enjoys capturing both representational and abstract photos. Anna’s collections offer variety of themes, subjects, and reflect on her many interests. Her favourite subjects are nature, everyday objects, and architecture.
Anna uses images to show the sheer beauty of the subjects or to speak about broader issues and life in general.
Anna appreciates the state of focus and complete involvement while working with her camera, which helps her find diversion and relaxation. Many of her photographs involve minimum retouch, and others are products of creative experiments she likes doing with her works.
