The Memories of George Nash from Co Clare' (Cat Beag Books) on Sunday 7th December at 4pm at the Local Inn, Drumquin (on the Ennis to Kildysart Road). 
George Nash (1935-2018) was from Newhall near Ennis. His parents were Peter Nash (1907-1965) from Kildysart and Agnes Hillary (1905-1969) from Ennis.
The back cover reads: 'Funerals at an ancient abbey, dancing at the holy well, the AI man at the Bull Station, lighting the candle in a turnip at Christmas, eating chips with accordionist Tony McMahon, tea with President Hillery, buying the bread in Ennis, an inside out habit at a wake, listening to Din Joe on the radio, filling bicycle tyres with grass, greeting the dead, seeking love at Lisdoonvarna. These are some of the many stories that George Nash from Newhall (1935-2018) recollects in this oral and photographic history of Co Clare. A treasure trove of memories for all to enjoy.'
The book with be launched by Cllr Tom O Callaghan followed by some trad tunes with Colm Nestor (a nephew to George Nash) & friends.
