This is part of “America’s State Parks First Day Hikes" program sponsored by New Jersey State’s Division of Parks & Forestry. This free event will start your New Year off right as your guides lead you on a special tour to Perrine Hill to view the main American position there and visit sites associated with Molly Pitcher.

On June 28, 1778, the Americans had a 10 gun artillery battery arranged along the ridge against the Royal Artillery at the Parsonage Farm. 

We meet at the Visitor's Center at 11:00 AM then drive in convoy to Perrine Hill on Route 522.  Appropriate hiking attire is encouraged. If the weather looks questionable, call the park office for information at 732-462-9616.  We will be meeting outside near the main doors. NOT ADA accessible.
